This part of the year is so much fun — all sorts of goodies to make and covet. I just found this amazing wreath and tutorial, such luck. After gushing over this pretty, go and visit the blog, Pickles, where you will get a how to. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Tonight seems like a good time to drink hot cocoa, start a fire in the fire place and make a new craft. Have fun! Oh — and here is a place to purchase felted balls if you don’t have time to make them.

Thanks for all who came out to the bird*holiday*show. It was fun sharing a cup of glogg and catching up with you all. Now you have some holiday goodies to wrap up. I love receiving a present that is wrapped with thought and care, it’s a continuation of the gift. Here are some ideas for your wrapping fun, also check out the older post from etsy, it’s a great gift wrapped video.
Here is a peek at a how to project from Gifted magazine. For more ideas and a lot of amazing things visit this online mag.

Follow this link on a how to make this crocheted snowflake. You can make them in a myriad of colors, not just white. I adore this red one.

I was looking at the artists in this years Luvable+hugable show at Gallery Hanahou and found this gem, Evangelione. Her handmade dolls and amazing miniatures bring me into an alternate reality. One where all things are cute, food is sweet, and everyone is kind. I have spent a bit of time on the her blog and recommend visiting her post on her miniature world. To magical yummy days.

What is Knitta?

Started in 2005, Knitta is a group of ladies of all ages, nationalities, and… gender who started “bombing” the inner city with vibrant, stitched works of art, wrapped around everything from beer bottles on easy nights to public monuments and utility poles on more ambitious outings.
What an amazing insperation these guys are. Check out their website to find out more information.

I was looking through one of my all time favorite magazinse SELVEDGE, and I came upon these fantastic little flag garlands made in the UK by artist Sophie Cuvelier. She makes them out of hand dyed paper. The colors are just so bright and happy. They bring a smile to my face.
