I am in awe of the company, Votivo.  They make wonderful candles – they smell great – I even think you can sense in the aroma how each one is made by hand.  They are not like your ordinary candle, they are special.  It’s exciting to know that Textures is now carrying them.  We are so lucky!  I wanted you to hear how the shop describes themselves.  Oh — and I know for a fact that one guy with really big arms does all the hand-pressed seals.  I wonder if one arm is bigger than the other.

So many cute stocking stuffers are here — come in and enjoy explore all the nooks and crannies of our store.  Of course there are always new items coming in — our artists are amazing — come and see!

We just got the most beautifully dainty jewelry in. I had the pleasure of meeting Betsy Carr of Foundling back in January. She was delightful as is her jewelry line. Foundling incorporates pages from old books, vintage patterned fabrics, timeworn beads, illustrations and recycled silver.  I am a lover of old things being transformed into new things, and I work in a very similar mindset, so I truly appreciate these wonderful gems!!

We love Nate Duval.

One of our Textures artists’ introduced us to a Nate Duval t-shirt last year, and we fell in love! We tracked him down and got some in around Christmas to share with Tallahassee. Those sold pretty quickly, so we got some more. We are happy to announce that we now have new Nate Duval t-shirts in at Textures, and this time around, we have some baby/kids t-shirts too!! We have some new Governors Daughter necklaces in at Textures. I am in love with every single one of them! I wish that I could own them all. If you see one you are interested in, email me (textureshandmade@gmail.com), and we can get one out to you. They are all so vibrant and spring-like and make me think of sipping lemonade. Quite refreshing to look at, if I do say so myself.
