SUPPORT.INDEPENDENT.CREATIVITY

As vintage aficionados, we love giving new life to things from the past. We adore revamping vintage clothing and creating clothing and accessories. We create vintage-inspired handmade headbands in a variety of styles.

Here’s the thing… I totally adore seeing the spaces where artists create. So, over the next couple of weeks/months, I will be posting images of some of the spaces where Textures artists get their creative on. Hold on to your hats, cause this is gonna be a lot of fun…

Many of our fabulous Textures artists will be having special Holiday Trunk shows over the next couple of weeks, so bee on the look out.
The first trunk show will be happening THIS SUNDAY, November 15 from 2-6pm at Textures {1123 Thomasville Rd. between Whataburger and Waterworks}. Textures Artist Janae Easton will be featuring her winter collection of whimsical soft sculptures along with drawings, pillows, gocco prints, Holiday gift baskets, stockings, and sooooooooooo much more. Stop by and see what Janae has been up to.

To get you in the holiday spirit, we will have holiday cookies and spiked punch.
Check it out! Textures artist Purpose ReDesign Studio was featured in Design*Sponge today! The featured NY Times bench already sold, but the wine rack is currently in Textures! Come in to the store and check out the other pieces Purpose ReDesign Studio has re-created.
Several Textures artists (Janae Easton- Platypus File, Maggie Willman- Handmade Maggie, and Holly Holloway- The Governor’s Daughter) were featured in the ‘Local Color’ section of Tallahassee Magazine this month! Check it out!

“Flight of Fancy” Funky and modern with a touch of vintage, this hand-stitched bird pillow by Janae Easton will enliven even the most austere decor. $32, Textures Handmade Market, 850.765.0378
“Get It All In” Who would think of re-purposing old ledgers, maps, and receipts into journaling pages? Handmade Maggie, that’s who. This hand-sewn journal has pages to fill and artifacts to ponder making it the perfect food for thought. $26, Textures Handmade Market, 850.765.0378
“Sight for Sore Eyes” This handmade necklace by The Governor’s Daughter is a one-of-a-kind original. Transparent blue, terra cotta, cerulean and natural stone beads ensure this will be a perfect match. $80, Textures Handmade Market, 850.765.0378
We want to congratulate Lucy and Leo’s Cupcakery on a successful First night of being OPEN! We are so proud of them and are so excited to share the new location. There will be lots of good times ahead. We are looking forward to the adventure!
